Hiner Transport takes great pride in our use of technology and its practical integration into the business of handling our customer’s freight in an on-time basis. We strive to maintain a state of the art system to provide optimal communications with our drivers on the road and have accurate and timely information at hand for our customers. Our basic in-house dispatching system is built around TMW operational software with integrated programs supporting tracking and record keeping functions along with billing and payroll applications. Our vehicles too benefit from technology; each power unit has a ‘PeopleNet’ communications links to track location, performance, and provide real time contact with the driver, trailers are equipped with a satellite tracking system to provide backup tracking redundancy to the power unit system. In house, the computer system at Hiner has multiple servers to ensure reliability, accessibility, and optimum performance for our employees and our customers.
